Spike’s story is 100 a tragedy, but his dream wasn’t empty. The Bebop was his escape from that, but escaping your past is way less important than confronting it. Remember, Spike was just as ruthless of a gangster as Vicious was. Spike is a former member of the criminal Red Dragon Syndicate, who left by faking his death after falling in love with a woman named Julia. It’s not that they didn’t mean anything to him necessarily, it’s that Julia meant more. He is married to actress Kerri Higuchi, and they have two children. But when she meets a very suspicious cowboy, her past seems to catch up behind her in a very unexpected turn. Her life was going smoothly after coming back from her old job, bounty hunting. A screen acting career began with small roles in projects such as Wag the Dog (1997), Bowfinger (1999), and the critical favorite Better Luck Tomorrow (2002). Into The Stars (Spike Spiegel x Female Reader) (Y/N) (L/N) is a strong headed woman. He also began acting with the famed Asian American theatre company East West Players. Upon graduation, he moved back to Los Angeles, working for a while as a teacher at Pacific Hills School where he taught 7th grade English. The penultimate episode of season 1, Supernova Symphony, mirrors the events of Ballad of Fallen Angels to a certain extent, but does not follow through in terms of Spike Spiegel’s fate. Cho was educated at Herbert Hoover High School at Glendale, before moving on to the University of California at Berkeley, where he studied English literature. Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop ends with a rather shocking twist, one that completely changes Spike and Vicious’ story. With hundreds of V/O credits to his name, Veteran Voice Monkey Steve Blum is best known as the voice of 'Spike Spiegel' from Cowboy Bebop, 'Wolverine' from several incarnations of X-Men (animated movies, games, the Wolverine and the X-Men TV Series, The Super Hero Squad Show, X-Men Anime and more), 'Zeb Orrelios' and dozens of other characters from Star. John Yohan Cho was born in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to Los Angeles, California as a child.
